I've been dealing with a persistent issue on my Discovery 4 for months now where it occasionally hesitates during acceleration and sometimes even cuts out completely at low speeds, which is pretty dangerous when you're pulling into traffic or navigating roundabouts. I've taken it to two different garages so far and both of them just plugged in their diagnostic computers, cleared the codes, and told me everything was fine, but clearly something is wrong because the car doesn't drive the way it used to and I can feel it's not performing properly. The first place suggested I change the fuel filter which I did, the second one said it might be a sensor issue but they weren't sure and wanted to start replacing parts randomly, which I obviously refused because that's just a money pit with no guarantee of fixing the actual problem. I've spent hours on Land Rover forums reading about similar issues and it seems like the TDV6 can have a few common problems that require someone with specific knowledge and experience, not just a generic mechanic who works on all sorts of cars. I'm at the point where I need to find a Top Land Rover Specialist in Abu Dhabi, someone who deals with these cars every single day and actually understands the quirks of the TDV6 engine, because I'm tired of wasting time and money on places that don't have a clue about what they're doing with these complex diesel engines. Has anyone had a good experience with a shop that really knows their way around the Disco 4 and can properly diagnose this hesitation issue without just guessing?
